ABOUT OUR FIRM

The firm is unwavering in its commitment to providing first class professional services, to the adherence and maintenance of strict professional ethics and standards, based on the guidelines contained in the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners issued by the Nigeria Bar Association.

The firm deliberately and consciously lays emphasis and concentrates on Corporate and Commercial law practice without losing sight of the needs of civil litigants. To cope with the demands of our overall practice,  Counsels in Chambers are encouraged to develop interest in specific areas of law in which the Firm has specialized in order to serve her growing number of corporate and private clients within and outside Nigeria more effectively and thereby preserve the corporate image f the Firm.

The Firm has been active in the energy and construction sectors, and has also been engaged in the various privatization programmes across the Country. She is also active in litigation and appeals in all the superior jurisdictions in Nigeria. The firm is also currently involved in Assets Tracing, Tracking and recovery of Looted and Stolen Assets of Nigeriain any jurisdiction, coupled with debt recovery for corporate organizations/ individual and property market.

Our clientele include multinational corporations, banks and other financial institutions as well as the public sector, statutory bodies, commercial concerns, governments, political parties and other social organizations, and of course individuals in need of legal services.

The Firm is registered as a Capital Market Consultant with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and as external solicitors to a number of public and private organizations. We appreciate the need to keep abreast of current developments in the field of data collection, storage and retrieval, as their impact on our ability to render prompt and efficient service. In order to meet the growing complexity and diversity of needs of her clientele the Firm has embarked on a deliberate policy of investing in the latest information technology hardware and software and electronic gadgets in order to sustain and improve the quality of her services.

As part of our determination to cope with the global nature of our practice and ensure prompt and appropriate response to enquiries from our clients’, both locally and internationally, we maintain close and effective connections with international legal bodies and Law Firms and subscribe to international journals to keep our Counsel abreast of developments in the laws of foreign jurisdictions.

Our professional staff includes lawyers in the academia and legal practitioners trained in the best legal traditions both locally and internationally and associates qualified in other fields.

We have well-stocked and up to date libraries, which serve not only the needs of our practice but also as a reference library to our professional colleagues in our localities.

Professionally-staffed Accounting, Office Management and Secretarial Departments have been set up to provide administrative and management support services to our Practice.
